A Tour To Europe
After completing my A levels in the year 2023, we we went on a family vacation to Europe. This tour is very close to my heart as this was my very first time going somewhere out of Bangladesh that too by air. We visited two different countries in Europe. Our uncle sent us the invitation to visit Germany. We, especially, my father was a bit worried if we will get the visa or not as they rarely give visas. Nevertheless, we did get our visas and that too very quickly without any hassles. The most hectic part began after we got the visa, that is organising our luggage and preparing ourselves for the journey. As we were five people we had lots of things to carry along with the gifts for some of the relatives living there. Eventually, we did manage all the things and on the 26th July we got ready to catch our flight to Germany, our first destination. It took us nearly 14 hours to reach our destination. It does not take so long but we had a transit in Qatar where we had to wait for 2 hours before we reached Berlin. As it was my first time boarding a plane I was very excited and when the plane took off , however, it was kind of scary and I started having headache. Nonetheless, eventually I started feeling good. We reached Berlin, the capital of Germany safely and were greeted by our uncle and his family. Upon arrival I couldn't believe that I am in Europe. Thus, our vacation began. At first we went to our uncle's house and had our breakfast and took some rest. We didn't have much time to roam around in Berlin as we had our flight to France the next day. Hence, our target was to visit the main attractions of the capital city of Germany within a very short time. After breakfast we went to visit The Berlin Wall and The Berlin Gate. The Berlin Wall is more than 140kms long and on the wall there is colorful graffiti artwork. The Brandenburg Gate also known as the Berlin Gate is the most significant monument of Germany and is surrounded by a plethora of important history. There we visited the Tiergarten which is a huge inner city park and the place is a perfect picnic spot. This spots area the diplomatic areas. I was mostly amazed by how clean and well maintained the streets of Berlin were. The air was so refreshing and everything was so green and vibrant. Not only the country but also the people were very well mannered and were very cautious of their environment which is a rare case in Bangladesh. As such our first day ended visiting the capital city.
The next day we got ready for our flight to France, the most magical place of Europe but again after reaching the airport we were informed that our flight got delayed by four hours. Hence, by the time we reached France it was already midnight and so we couldn't visit any place that day. We were welcomed by our aunt there and we had a great time with them. We visited all the places with them and stayed there for five days. Indeed, those were the best five days of 2023. I had the best foods in France and visited the most wonderous places there. The people of France are kind of rude and the streets are not clean at all but still there was something magical in that place. We mainly visited Paris and Versailles. One day is enough to visit Versailles where the main attraction is Chateau De Versailles and Versailles Orangerie .On the other hand, Paris is huge and it took us four days to visit the significant attractions, still we failed to visit some places due to time shortage. We were really excited to see the Eiffel Tower and we did. Unfortunately, it rained heavily that day and we couldn't fully enjoy. The wind was so strong that it was difficult to withstand and we broke two umbrellas. We visited the Galleries Lafayette which is the most luxurious mall in Europe with the largest brands such as Tiffany, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, etc. of all time. Moreover, the roof terrace of Galleries Lafayette offers a panoramic view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. In addition, we visited The Paris Gate and Square Louise Michel from where we saw a stunning view of Paris. There we visited a famous church. The most enchanting place was the Disney Land a dream place of every child. In fact, even adults enjoy it as much as children. The place in one word is amazing and captivating. There are hundreds of rides and all the Disney characters are there. It is just so nostalgic and growing up I always dreamt of visiting this place and now that I went it still feels so surreal. We had the best time there and it was doubled by the arrival of my uncle and his family. On our last day of France we visited the Louvre Museum and I was blown away by the works of Western art especially the painting of Mona Lisa, sculptures and architectural elements. I had the most flavorsome and appetizing deserts like cheese cake, croissants, etc. And with that our France trip came to an end.
