Bringing the Sunshine Wherever We Go

 What do you think friendship is? The word ‘friendship’ refers to a relationship between two or more friends. The meaning of friendship can vary from person to person. For some, friendship means sharing good and bad memories together, while for others, it signifies trust, emotion, support, and happiness. There is a famous line from a poem written by Oliver Wendell Holmes: “Friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold.” It’s pretty mesmerising line, isn’t it?




The word ‘friendship’ holds a very special place in my heart. For me, friendship is like a blessing that the Almighty has gifted us, but not everyone is lucky enough to have this blessing. Perhaps I’m one of the luckiest girls on this planet to have received it.The journey of the happiest ride of my life began in 2012 when I transferred to my new school in class three. There, I met some awesome people, and the thrilling, exciting ride began!


Let me introduce you to my gang named “Crazy 7”. You might be wondering why Crazy 7? Well, we believe every member of our group is crazy, including me (which is actually true). Each member in our group has a weird nickname.





Let’s begin with ‘Tissue’. Her name somehow resembles tissue paper, which is why we call her this. She is the extroverted one, loves to talk, and can talk nonstop all day. She’s like my secret diary; I don’t have to think about what to talk to her about, and I can be myself in front of her without wearing any masks.


The second one is ‘Khali’. Actually, she’s from Noakhali, which is why we call her Khali in short. I think she’s me from another world because she’s the perfect version of me . She’s my  life advisor and my comfort zone.


The third one is ‘BTB’. It has a full form, but I’m gonna hide it from you! She’s the neutral one. She’s everyone’s best friend and the kindest soul I have ever seen. Her writing skill is amazing and I’m gonna be her 1st fan if she ever writes a book.





The fourth one is ‘Naduya’. Her nickname is the most decent from all of our nicknames. She is the most reliable person I have met. She has all the solutions that I need when I face any kind of difficulties in my life. She’s like my personal Google.


The fifth one is ‘Sharmili’. This nickname actually came from her last name, but we modified it a little bit. She’s my travelling partner and someone whom I can talk about off-topics that I occasionally don’t talk with anyone.


The sixth one is ‘Lu_chacha’. Her name is the funniest. My first impression of her was that she might be someone hard to approach, but when I got to know her, she turned out to be the funniest and sweetest girl I’ve seen. I love spending time with her.


And the last one is me. I also have a funny nickname, but I’m gonna keep it a secret. There’s never a dull moment with them. Everything seems more mesmerising when I’m with them. We have shared a lot of precious memories together. We laughed, cried, danced, and sang together. Maybe you’ll find the happiest version of me whenever I’m with them.






It all began in 2012, and now it’s 2024. I’ve spent a whole 12 years with them. Time has changed, and many things have happened in our lives. We’ve experienced ups and downs, facing every challenge together, our bond unbreakable. Every memory shared has strengthened our connection, weaving into the fabric of our friendship. These moments are treasures I’ll cherish forever. They are truly one of the best gifts from Allah. In life’s journey, amidst chaos and uncertainty, they are my steady support, my anchor, my guiding light. As we navigate the unknown future, I hope our friendship remains as resilient as forged steel, unwavering through any challenge.
